Iranian actress Elika Abdolrazzaqi has joined the cast of the longest-running Iranian TV series ‘It Snows Silently’ (Barf bi seda mibarad).
Abdolrazzaqi is the second official star of the 250-episode series.
Earlier reports said Iranian actor Farhad Ayeesh was the first to cast for the series.
Directed by Pourya Azarbayjani, the series is composed of three seasons and revolves around events that took place in the 1980s, the 1990s and the 2010s.
The first and second seasons of the series are currently undergoing the production stage, while the screenplay of season three has not been completed yet.
Elika Abdolrazzaqi has taken part in various TV series, including 'Mozaffar’s Garden', 'The Man with a Thousand Faces', 'Bitter Coffee', 'Made in Iran' and 'My Villa'
The 41-year-old actress has also appeared in several movies, including 'The Magical Generation', 'Morning’s Child' and 'Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus'.
Abdolrazzaqi is married to popular film and television actor Amin Zendegani.
